Shirley Duran, the proud daughter of Dominican immigrants, brings a unique perspective to the legal field shaped by her secondhand experience with the immigration process. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies. With extensive experience as a paralegal in civil litigation and criminal defense, she is currently a Juris Doctor candidate at Barry University School of Law, expected to graduate in 2024. Ms. Duran consistently demonstrates academic excellence, ranking among the top 10% of her class. Ms. Duran earned the distinction of being one of 14 law students selected to join the prestigious George C. Young Inn of Court as a student member, showcasing her dedication to professional development.
